John Mayer piece released!!

The First piece for the MyAtlanta series is here... will not be releasing them all before the show but you will be able to see some of the work and the progress only on this blog. All the sketches and previews from most of the pieces will come but not full images of finished ones because then what would you come to the show for? To see the suprise guests??? LOL! Well...Here it is. It's all acrylic?? (I don't do acrylic a lot, started with the live pieces I did this summer.) Let me know what you think. I'm open to brutal criticism too!! It's approx. 4' x 3' acrylic on canvas. John Clayton Mayer

Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard on his album Continuum, released in September 2006. At the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 Mayer won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change". Mayer's career pursuits have extended to stand-up comedy, design, and writing; he has written pieces for magazines, most notably for Esquire. He is also involved in philanthropic activities through his "Back to You" fund and his concern over global warming.

For those that don't know John's music...

I have all of his music including his New Album due out Tuesday Nov. 17th, definitely a must have! I own it and I am still buying one!
