Hannah Dakota Fanning^[1] (born February 23, 1994)...born in Conyers, Ga... better known simply as Dakota Fanning, is an American teen actress. Fanning's breakthrough performance was in I Am Sam in 2001. As a child actress, she appeared in high-profile films such as Man on Fire, War of the Worlds, and Charlotte's Web. Fanning began transitioning to more adult roles with Hounddog and The Secret Life of Bees. She has won numerous awards and is the youngest person ever to have been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

So my degree is in illustration and that's my trade...I have moved back and forth from illustration for this other monster in my head that wants to just paint selfishly, but I do still work on that craft as well. This is a pencil sketch I did today... I work on whatever comes to mind and I have the scene in my head and this is one of the many things I drew today...And the one I'm going to focus on tomorrow. It's only a small part of a big scene from an old fable...

Okay so I started another pastel piece...I gotta go to home depot or Lowe's today to get some wood to build some canvases to paint on...But in the mean while these musicians that live in my head are going to keep coming out. I love it. It's fun, man I wish I could play something!! Well I was a beast on the Bass Drum in the marching band, One of the best in the Metro Atlanta area my senior year...yeah and I'm not being cocky it was proven when I was number 2 in line among about 50 or 60 of the best around the city!! Dr. Don P. Roberts told me that! LOL...anyway back to the work. Here she is...just started.

Okay so the people that know me know I went to Atlanta College of Art during a time that there were some of the most creative and eccentric minds walking the halls...Well one of my friends has started a website call sirtomfoolery.com and I find it highly entertaining and brilliant. He is also a beast with a paintbrush! Well that being said he posted a video discussion during one of his "Throne" discussions and I found it posted a question that I know many men would love to have an honest answer too...Let's discuss this...Watch the video and please don't get offended by the "Throne" discussion I find it hilarious...

Pastel piece...just playing around

So this piece comes from a spirit I have held for a long time...I love music and it inspires a lot of my work. But this piece's story,  I was doing a show for some people that really didn't go over well for me financially or promotion wise so I pulled out my sketchbook to draw to generate some attention, people always want to see what you are drawing...Well there was a live band and I had a pretty good view of the guy on the keyboard so I did some sketches and this is what they have become...
